Parishioners invoke the protection of Our Lady
(Holy water from Our Lady of Lourdes France, Our Lady of Fatima Portugal, Our Lady of Knock Ireland, Jerusalem, and St. Rose of Lima Church was poured into the mortar to lay the beautiful marble for the altar floor and stairs.)

Rose Window delivered and installed
(The Rose window was created and installed in six sections. St. Rose is depicted as a woman of Spanish and Incan decent in the Dominican habit. The background is intended to remind the community of the view through the clear glass windows of the church on Pompeii Drive, which looked out on pine trees against a blue sky with birds frequently passing through.)
